How to stop the Yo-Yo Effect

Do you keep yo-yo'ing from feeling great to being either really down or really worried?

This can be a big issue for so many people, and has been for me too and is something that I have talked about in many of my calls. So how can we stop the yo-yo effect? Well to do this we first need to understand a little bit about the Power of the Universe and how it works.

 

It has been proven by science that everything is energy, including us, our emotions, our thoughts, our food, our homes, towns, places of work, nature and everything that surrounds us. All these things can have either good energy or bad energy, meaning they either vibrate at a high vibration or a low vibration.

High vibrations feel good such as:

  • laughter
  • smiles
  • joy
  • kindness
  • sunshine
  • blue skies
  • nature
  • pretty flowers
  • beautiful scents etc

Low vibrations feel bad, such as:

  • anger
  • hate
  • abuse
  • humiliation
  • guilt
  • grief
  • pollution
  • poisons
  • excess loud noise and so on

When we are connecting to and surrounded by high vibrations then we will feel good and when we are connecting to low vibrations we will feel bad. So whenever we yo-yo into a bad feeling, we need to take action to connect back to high vibrations / energies to feel good again!

This can be done by doing anything that makes you feel happy, smile and just feel good!

  • So smell a lovely scent and enjoy it
  • Watch a funny clip on You Tube and laugh
  • Watch an inspiring clip and feel inspired
  • Look at photos that bring back happy memories
  • Take rescue remedy or flower essences, they have a high vibration
  • Chat with like minded souls you feel supported and loved
  • Eat dark chocolate (but only if you're going to enjoy it and not feel guilty!)
  • Take a walk in fresh air and nature
  • Connect to the Angels, your soul or guides and ask for help and inspiration

I'm sure you can think of many more ideas, so it is a good idea to spend a little bit of time making a list of things that make you feel good, bookmark web pages and then when you're having an off moment just go and connect and feel better!

The quicker we notice we have yo-yo'd into a low then the easier it is to shift back into a good high vibration, so be aware of how you are feeling and let worry and negative feelings take over you and your awareness!

The more you get into the habit of noticing a low moment and switching back to high energies, then the easier it becomes to reduce the yo-yo effect. :)

At first you will notice that the lows aren't as low, and then that there aren't as many of them! Then you may well notice that not only are you spending more time feeling good but that the yo-yo has shifted higher so you are feeling much better than you did before and your current lows now wouldn't have felt that low before! So congratulate yourself with your progress, be super kind to yourself, and encourage yourself all of the way to a much happier and more consistently good life!
